Faith/Works? or Faith Works

What does faith look like?  This is a question that has been asked for 6,000 years.  It only took one generation to know what it does not look like.  When Adam and Eve sinned in the garden it gave us a pretty good visual of what the absence of faith looked like.  So then, faith must be coupled with obedience.  But what must we obey?  This is really the question.  As long as there is moral relativity and the absence of absolute authority we will continue to ask this question.  In the Bible, Judges 17 & 21, "everyone did what was right in his own eyes."

But this can not be faith...  "Without faith it is impossible to please God", Heb 11:6.
So then, faith cannot look inside oneself, but must look to God.  We can only know God's expectations of us when we look into the Word of God.  Our faith is not in feelings or desires but in the Absolute Truth found in the Bible.  Every Word/Every Letter, just as God originally gave it....

You cannot be a child of God, and not act on Christ’s behalf by carrying out good works.  Do you have a REAL faith?  REAL is Responsive, Equipped, Authentic & Loving.    You see REAL Faith does not sit around and wait.  REAL faith works.  Not so that it can be saved but because it is already experiencing salvation.

...because you have listened to the voice of the LORD your God, to keep all His commandments which I command you today, to do what is right in the eyes of the LORD your God. Deut 13:18
