Answer:
Notice when God makes His statement in Genesis, He is referring to Adam specifically. However, it may not mean that everyone is better in a relationship. God's plan of reproduction of the human race could not sustain itself if Adam had no helper. Because of population growth, the development of future generations does not depend upon any one person today. For some people and for other reasons, it may be better for them to remain unmarried. It certainly freed Paul to pursue a different ministry than he would have if he were married... Regardless of whether marriage is for you, we still must remain obedient to Jesus and His Word. But this however, is no contradiction...
