John 15:7-8
“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.  By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.”

Jesus declares a primary guarantee attributed from Abiding in Him, is that His words will be in us.  Let me explain, this is a passage on prayer.  This passage is often taken out of context to say that Jesus desires to give us what we want.  However, this is not the case.  What it does say is, if you stay connected to Christ, His words will be connected to you.  When this is true, when you pray, you will be praying His Words not yours.  His will not yours.  Therefore, when you pray you are praying His will to be done and you will have your prayer answered because it is ultimately His prayer.  Hahaha, very clever indeed! You see, You begin to desire His desire.  How?  Abiding in Him!  Have you noticed that your prayers are becoming more like the prayers of Jesus….?
