Galatians 3:1-14 Day 2 You’ve got to be here for Day of Grace on Sunday…Here are a few things we will be discussing… In Galatians 3:2, Paul asks a relevant question: Did you receive the Spirit by observing the law, or by believing what you heard (Gospel of Grace)? It’s a rhetorical question, because he knows that to be saved one must come into contact with Grace. They received the Spirit when they believed the Good News that Jesus died for their sins. There were other teachers who claimed the external requirements of the law--what to eat, what to wear, how to look--brought about the ability for salvation to take root. In other words, become good first and then you will qualify for salvation. Does this doctrine still exist? Paul asks which process, grace or the law, led to your receiving the Spirit and salvation? The law works toward slavation, grace works toward salvation. Which do you prefer? Which are you trusting? Which do you require others to practice? Don’t forget to like our page and share on yours.
