Day 1 Acts 2:42-47 God will not grow churches beyond their ability to reach and disciple people. People are not discipled in a pew. They are barely educated in a pew. People are discipled in smaller community. As a church, we are not called to gather people. We are called to disciple people. As disciples, we are called to disciple the community in which we live. We should be creating environments (both inside church and outside church) where we model the habits that help people grow and develop. This is why we create relational communities of Bible Studies and Connect Groups. Pastors can tell people about planes and about life outside of the airport. However, in relational life (Connect Groups & Studies) we talk about how to get to the gate and then to help them onboard. In order to really grow and mature in our faith we need to be a part of the lives of other believers. It is difficult and scary to do. We want to do it alone, but we cannot. God created us for community! #247daily
